Frequently Asked Questions

Who are you and where is your company located?

We are a boutique website security service specializing in website malware removal and post-incident security. We are a U.S.-based company located in Tampa, Florida, and all work is handled directly by our team under U.S. privacy and data protection laws. You can learn more on our About Us page.

How do you clean my website?

We use a manual, incident-response approach supported by specialized tools and expert review. While automated tools can assist with detection, no website cleanup is fully automated.

Modern malware often evolves to evade scanners, hides in databases, or uses persistence mechanisms that require hands-on investigation. For this reason, we require full access to your hosting environment to properly identify, remove, and validate cleanup.

Can you tell me if you can clean my infected website?

Yes. Website malware removal is our core service. Most sites are fully cleaned within 24 hours, depending on complexity and access. If we’re unable to complete cleanup within that timeframe under our Terms of Service, a refund may apply.

I have multiple websites on the same server — can I purchase one package?

Packages apply to web applications, not domains.

  • If multiple sites or applications are hosted under one hosting account with shared access, discounted multi-site options may apply.
  • If sites are hosted under separate control panels or FTP accounts, each must be purchased separately.

If you’re unsure, we’re happy to clarify before purchase, just contact us!

I have one domain but multiple applications (e.g., WordPress + e-commerce). Is that one site?

No. Each web application is treated as a separate site for cleanup and monitoring purposes, even if they share a domain.

What makes you different from other malware removal services?

We specialize exclusively in website security. We do not provide web design, SEO, or general IT services.

Our approach focuses on:

  • Manual malware and backdoor removal
  • Root-cause identification
  • Optional preventative security hardening
  • Monitoring and rapid response (where applicable)

This is not a one-click cleanup — it’s professional incident response.

How long does malware removal take?

Most websites are cleaned within a few hours, but every incident is different. Factors such as site complexity, hosting restrictions, access limitations, and severity of infection can affect timelines.

While many sites are restored quickly, we typically advise allowing up to 24 hours for full cleanup and verification.

Note: Google Safe Browsing warnings may remain visible for 24–48 hours after cleanup while Google completes its review.

What access do you need to clean my website?

To perform a complete cleanup, we require:

  • Hosting control panel or server access
  • CMS or application access (if applicable)
  • File and database access

This allows us to identify hidden malware, persistence mechanisms, and unauthorized access points.

Can I send you zip files instead of granting server access?

Yes, but with limitations.

We can clean the files you provide; however, without full server access, we cannot verify whether malware exists elsewhere on the system or guarantee that reinfection won’t occur. Monitoring services are not available under this option, and pricing remains the same.

My site is sending spam — can you fix that?

Outbound spam is often caused by vulnerable forms or application logic rather than malware. In these cases, remediation typically requires a developer to correct the underlying code. We’re happy to advise, but this falls outside malware cleanup services.

Do you offer phone support?

Support is provided through our secure system and email. This allows us to focus on incident response, documentation, and timely remediation.

If phone-based support is essential for you, we may not be the best fit — and that’s okay.

What does your malware removal service include?

Depending on the service level selected, cleanup may include:

  • Manual malware removal
  • Backdoor and persistence elimination
  • File and database integrity checks
  • Google malware warning assistance
  • Post-cleanup validation
  • Optional monitoring and reporting

Full details are outlined in our Terms of Service.

My site no longer works after being infected — can you restore it?

We will remove malware and attempt to restore functionality where possible. However, if malware damage is extensive and no backups exist, full restoration may require a web developer. Site rebuilding is not included in malware cleanup services.

Will you clean adult or illegal content websites?

We do not service websites that contain illegal content under U.S. law, including prohibited adult material or counterfeit goods.

Will you contact my hosting provider after cleanup?

Yes, we can assist with reactivation or verification requests if your hosting provider has suspended your account. You’ll need to provide the appropriate contact details.

Is this an ongoing subscription?

No. Services are billed as a one-year term where monitoring is included. Renewal is optional, and you’ll be notified before expiration.

Do you need continued access after cleanup?

Yes, access is required during any active monitoring period. If credentials change, you must notify us so we can respond quickly to time-sensitive issues. Revoked access terminates monitoring services.

Are you available nights and weekends?

Security monitoring and remediation operate 24/7. General support inquiries are handled during standard business hours.

Do you provide testimonials?

We do not publish client testimonials or disclose client identities. Protecting client privacy and security takes priority over marketing.
